Wall Construction
We construct wall units in the footprint of the base slab.
Walls can either be constructed using insitu formwork or precast wall units. In the majority of cases the reservoirs are located on elevated ground (top of a hill) therefore restricting land area available. Precast wall units are able to be constructed within the footprint of the floor slab which gives the opportunity for the works to be conducted within the restricted area.
The precast wall units are able to be stitched together and with the application of the post-tensioning within the wall provides it to be a water tight and economical solution.
